The beauty of the garden is experienced in many ways and is forever changing and transforming with light. A sunny day brings out intense colors, while a rainy or cloudy day softens and blends.

The garden however, may also be experienced in the darkest night or by the light of a full moon.

By incorporating landscape lighting into your design you are presented with a completely different way of seeing the garden.Dramatic shadows are born from the contrast of the night sky and lighting focused on a particular area or plant.

The art of lighting may vary from a soft wash or moonlight effect which can be incorporated into a large area for entertaining, or a pathway, for example. More dramatic effects are created when the light source is focused on a subject such as a speciman tree or scupture.
