Whether we complain about the weather or not living in the mountains brings a dramatic change in seasons.
We feel the longing for spring as winter's time slowly ends. The quickening begins: our blood flows as we see
small green shoots emerge from the thawing soil. We begin to dream of summer with all her color the garden
brings forth.
Tahoe has the best summers on the planet. We love our summers! With warm days, cool nights, barbeques,
the smell of suntan lotion, summer gatherings with friends and family create memories for our lives.
As we move into fall the Lake quiets down as the tourists and visitors leave. Warmth still hangs in the air
as the days become crisp with the unmistakable sound of moving aspens tickled by the wind. Autumn's
glow permeates the garden as we move inside and prepare for winter's chill.
With her white cool cover the garden sleeps.
